<div itemprop="description">BLOOMFIELD, James Wesley 1941-2014 Retired – Captain The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment of Canada) Peacefully at home in Prescott with his family by his side, on Tuesday January 28, 2014 at the age of 72, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Monique Desgagné. Loving father of Jocelyn (Robert Whan) of Inkerman, Michael (Lyn Sto Tomas) of Kanata and Yanick (Sheri Dagenais) of Williamsburg. Proud and cherished grandfather of Jude Evan DagenBloom. Fond brother-in-law of Loretta Folley (late John Williams) of Toronto, Claude Desgagné (Gisèle Duchesne) of Rouyn-Noranda,Gabrielle Grandbois Desgagné of Granby, Pierrette Desgagné (René Bourassa) of Longueuil and Jean-Rock Desgagné of Gatineau. Will be dearly remembered by many dear nephews, nieces, and friends. Predeceased by his first spouse Marlene Anne Smith, his parents; Arnold Lee Bloomfield and Flovia May Bottomley (Claude Hulme), his siblings; Evelyn Roberta (late Robert Moore) Marolyn Mae (David Carley) Constance Anne ( late Kenneth James Ewles) Flovia Leigh (John Edward Molloy) and Arnold Gordon (late Helen Francis Collins). Many thanks to the staff of the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre, the Palliative Care Team in Brockville and to all that have provided long support in the last few years of Jim's life. Friends are invited to visit Beechwood, Cemetery & Funeral Services, 280 Beechwood Ave. (east of Vanier Parkway) Sunday February 2, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday February 3, 2014 after 12 noon followed by the Funeral Service in the Sacred Space of the Beechwood National Memorial Centre at 2p.m. In memory of Jim, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Il laisse son épouse Monique Desgagné, ses enfants; Jocelyn (Robert Whan) d’Inkerman, Michael (Lyn Sto Tomas) de Kanata et Yanick (Sheri Dagenais) de Williamsburg et son petit-fils adoré Jude Evan DagenBloom. Il laisse également ses beaux-frères et belles-s&oelig;urs; Loretta Folley (feu John Williams) de Toronto, Claude Desgagné (Gisèle Duchesne) de Rouyn-Noranda, Gabrielle Grandbois Desgagné de Granby, Pierrette Desgagné (René Bourassa) de Longueuil et Jean-Rock Desgagné de Gatineau ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces et proches ami(e)s. Il est prédécédé de sa première épouse Marlene Anne Smith, ses parents; Arnold Lee Bloomfield et Flovia May Bottomley (Claude Hulme), son fères et ses soeurs; Evelyn Roberta (feu Robert Moore) Marolyn Mae (David Carley), Constance Anne (feu Kenneth James Ewles), Flovia Leigh (John Edward Molloy) et Arnold Gordon (feu Helen Francis Collins). La famille desire remercier le Centre régional de cancérologie d’Ottawa et l’équipe de soins palliatifs the Brockville pour leur soutien continuel durant les dernières années de la vie de Jim. La famille recevra parents et amis au Cimetière et Services funéraires Beechwood, 280 ave. Beechwood (à l’est de prom. Vanier) dimanche le 2 janvier de 14 à 16h et de 19 à 21h. et Lundi le 3 janvier, à compter de midi. Les funérailles auront lieu Lundi en l’Espace Sacrée du centre Commémoratif national Beechwood à 14h. Pour ceux qui le désirent des dons à la Société Canadienne du Cancer seraient appréciés. </div>
