May 15, 1933 - September 2, 2015.
Beloved daughter of the late Salimé El-Ghawi and late Sleiman Nehme, fell peacefully in the Hands of The Lord on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at the Montfort Hospital in Ottawa. Loving wife of George El-Asmar, devoted mother of Maria (George Assi), Ghassan (Roxane Malt), Maurice (Chantal Lefebvre), cherished grandmother of Maroun, Roxane, Aleco, Toni, Adriana, Maxime, Vanessa, Katrina and Lana. Predeceased by brother André (Bertha Hattoum). She will be missed by her brother Elias (Montaha Geagea), her sister Anissa (late Semaan Meghaizel), her brother Jean (Yolla Salibi) and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Special thanks to the staff at Renaissance Montfort and of the 6th floor at Montfort Hospital in Ottawa.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Ave, Ottawa, on Friday, September 4 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 5th, 2015 at Saint Charbel Maronite Church, 245 Donald street, Ottawa.
