Dick was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather to whom family was central and pivital. A wartime child evacuee to Nova Scotia Dick gave a memorable talk about his experiences at a Remembrance Day service at St.D & St.M. church. Returning to Canada Dick spent many hours as aircrew flying sorties in noisy aircraft which resulted in substantial hearing loss. Over the years we often met Dick and Irene at various church's dinners where he relished getting a "second piece of pie". He enthusiastically embraced Debbie and Paul's family vineyard operations and could be seen spring, summer and fall meticulously cutting the grass. A true gentleman, he will be missed. May his family take comfort knowing he is at peace. Per Ardua Ad Astra.

Kathy and family: I am so very saddened at the loss of your father, Dick. He was a marvelous man, and I enjoyed his company completely. Dick set a very high standard of love of family. I know you will miss him dearly, and I wish you all of God's Blessings as you move forward in dealing with his loss.

Such a sweet man...I remember him looking particularly dapper and happy in his new beard, jeans and jacket, when he began his training as a ferrier, post retirement. The winery lawns and all who knew him will miss his tender care.
Sending heartfelt condolences to all the Yole family.
