I will miss your company, every 3rd Saturday morning at 9am sharp.
You had the biggest heart in the world. It was sad to see him in such a difficult situation the last time I went and your hair at the hospital, but at the same time you made me smile, we did have a good laugh.
From your abituary that I've just red, you have made this world a better place. You will never be forgotten. Johanne had a special place in your heart, and I felt that from the first time I met her.
Sweet dreams my friend.
From your friend.

Tu me manque déjà.

Dearest Ray, I miss you. Ray was the first face I saw every morning. I miss our discussions, BS sessions and your advice. Over the years I got to know Ray as much as he would let me know him as he was a very private man. Ray was a sounding board and a very kind man. I would help him with google maps when he would go on vacation especially the visit to his daughter in Picton, Ontario which was my place of birth, he loved the wine tour, lol. I only got to know his three lovely daughters and his grandchildren by his words but he was pretty proud papa and grandfather. Ray spoke of losing their mother so young, and I could see the memories in his eyes when she came up in conversation. We talked about the armed forces as my dad was in the forces as well. We shared pictures, vacation stories and of course hockey. I hadn't seen Ray for a while and enquired as to his whereabouts and was given the very sad new that he had a stroke but I did not know the severity. I was to visit him in the hospital and kept putting it off and this I do regret. To Ray rest in peace my friend your job is done and thank you for being my friend. xoxo Patti
