In Celebration of

Paul Forman

October 13, 1948 -  June 18, 2018

PAUL FORMAN Oct 13 1948- June 18 2018

Paul passed away in hospital from complications due to advanced pancreatic cancer in the afternoon on June 18, 2018
His wife Astrid and daughter Leanne were at his side.

While employed by the Federal Government for many years, Paul enjoyed biking to and from work along the Rideau River whenever the weather permitted.
He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. His numerous trips to Florida for two to three months in the sun with wife Astrid were a highlight. of his retirement years.
He loved the sun, stolling the beach and swimming in the Gulf of Mexico, fresh seafood, and good southern food.

At home he relaxed with his video games, sudoku ,online Texas Hold'Em, reading (often a fovorite book several times ) and going to all the Star Wars movies with Jamie, afterwards rewatching the videos many times . He also loved the Harry Potter Series and good old classic movies.
Dear to his heart over the years were his Pomeranians, and current Pekingese Gizmo. He was also actively involved in small breed dog rescue. Frequently Astrid and Paul's home was overrun with little dogs.

Paul was a man of quiet faith

He is survived by his wife Astrid, brother Gerry ( wife Ann) sister Sharon, daughter Leanne ( husband Steven) and grandson Owen, stepson Jamie and granddaughter Victoria, and his beloved four legged son Gizmo, the Pekingese.

A celebration of Paul’s life will be held Saturday July 7 @ 11am in the Sacred Space Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue (East of Vanier Parkway), Ottawa, ON

In lieu of flowers , donations in his memory to either
Pancreatic Cancer Canada (www.pancreaticcancercanada.ca) or
Pancreatic Cancer Network (www.pancan.org) would be appreciated

He Lived, He Loved, and Was Loved
