Passed away in Ottawa, February 2, 2019 in her 84th year after a short, intense battle with cancer. Pat was the daughter of the late Lawrence William (Pete) Howe and the late Helen Margaret Smith. Predeceased by her husband John, and daughter Karen. Survived by her sister Nancy Whiteley (Nigel) and brother Peter Howe (Marion) and their families; her children Michael, Linda, Diana and Vicky; grandchildren Bethany, Ellie, Melissa, Jared, Jenna, Jordan, Joel, Rachael, Gregory, Austin, Brandon, Abbey and Patrick along with eleven great grandchildren. A special good-bye from her partner Leo Gilbeault.

Pat was the hub of a busy family, which was her foremost love and interest, and whose activities she followed intently. A Celebration of Life and interment of ashes will take place in the spring. Friends wishing to remember Pat may make donations to Hospice Care Ottawa.
