OCTOBER 10, 2018 – UPDATE:

Many have asked what they could do, how they could contribute as we share the grief of Julian's passing. Although nothing will undo the tragedy, we have created a fund in an attempt to provide an ongoing means to encourage and support youth in music, as a worthy and generous way to follow through on the desire to contribute.

Those who had the pleasure of having known Julian and shared some mind or physical space with him, know how generosity of spirit, appetite for discovery, passion, kindness and supporting the pursuance of success and well-being of his friends, were prevalent in him. Together, let us perpetuate these important characteristics in a symbolic, lasting manner.

Julian Robert Zanetti passed away on August 4, 2018.

Beloved son of Marco and Lesli Zanetti (Polowin), brother to Robyn and Lucas, grandson to Romeo and Bettina Zanetti and Gerald and Helen Polowin.

Julian lived with an insatiable intellectual appetite accompanied by an unbending sense of justice and set of values, loyalty, kindness and exceptional sensitivity, at times shielded by appearances and images, in order to manage his view of a complex and frightening world.

His life will be remembered and honoured for his touching love, diverse talents, accomplishments and perhaps most of all for the great courage he summoned continuously.

A celebration of life gathering will be held in due course.
