Joseph Karim Nakhle

March 20, 1964 - January 8, 2019

Passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at the age of 54. Beloved son of Karim Nakhle and Jacqueline Salem. He will sorely be missed by his partner and the love of his life, Maria Ontong. Loving brother of Claude (Henry Karnabi), Tony, Elie (Micheline Antoun), Lina (Jean-Nicolas Bustros), Christine (Andre Abou Assali) and Charbel (Lillian Aboumoussa).

Much loved uncle of Tracy, Priscilla, Elio, Georgio, Anabella, Calista, Lamita, Charbel, Emanuel, Estephan, Mathieu, Brielle, Mila and Ella.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, January 13, 2019, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 5:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Beechwood, Funeral and Cemetery Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Charbel Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald Street, Ottawa.

Interment will follow at Beechwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Charbel Maronite Catholic Parish would be appreciated.

Dear Family and friends of Joseph, may the God of all comfort be with you as you mourn your dear one. May all the good memories you shared be a source of comfort for you. I hope you find additional comfort in the promises of hope made by the God of the Bible - “He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.”—Revelation 21:3, 5. Imagine a time in the future when no one will shed a single tear for pain ever again, and those in the grave will be brought back to life! - John 5:28. As we all look forward to that beautiful paradise where we and Joseph can live forever, i wish you God's peace.

Maria, Eli, and all of Joe's Family,

We are so very shocked and saddened to hear of Joe's sudden passing. Joe was such a kind, generous, and hard working man. This is truly unbelievable. Our hearts go out to you on such a grave loss.
