Our cherished and much loved husband, father and grandfather, Inanç Kayalioglu passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 27th, 2018, at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Ayla Kayalioglu and loving father of Özlem Kym Ashton (Peter). Very proud grandfather “Dede” of Adam and Sarah. Inanç is survived by many nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and pre-deceased by his dear parents Bedriye and Osman Kayalioglu and his two adored brothers Erol and Affan Kayalioglu. Family was always at the centre of Inanç’s life and very close to his heart.

Inanç graduated from the Istanbul Technical University with a Masters in Engineering. His illustrious career began at Abbey Road Studios in London, England. Later he moved with his family to Canada to pursue a career with Bell Northern Research (eventually Nortel) and laterally at Fujitsu in Dallas, Texas. He holds several patents based on his work. His love of travel and photography took him and Ayla all over the world. He was a passionate patron of the arts and made many wonderful friends who shared his love of classical music along the way. He especially enjoyed time spent with his good friends at the Westboro Recorded Music Society.
