September 9, 1932 -  December 7, 2018

Born in 1932 in Greenock, Scotland. Beloved husband of the late Senga Allan, passed away on December 7, 2018. Cherished father of Kenneth (Colleen), Donald (Marilyn) and Heather (Chris) and grandfather of Kelly, Christopher, James, Katherine, Joshua, William and Fiona. He will be fondly missed by his sister-in-law, Belle, nephew Ian and the McGovern family: Emily, Jeffrey (Lori), and Jackie (Scott). Special thanks to Colonel By Retirement Home, Élisabeth Bruyère Palliative Care Unit, Regional Palliative Consultative Team, and CLHIN. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 1:30 p.m., with reception to follow at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa. In memoriam donations, in lieu of flowers, to the Bruyère Foundation (Palliative Care Unit) would be greatly appreciated.
