Ernest Theodore (Ted) Yeomans, RCMP S/SGT Retired

September 13, 1932 -  April 3, 2018

Passed away peacefully at the General Campus with family and friends by his side on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Predeceased by his soulmate and beloved wife, Brenda Yeomans (nee Armstrong), parents Theo and Bessie Yeomans (Saint John, NB). Ted will be remembered and missed by his daughter Helen and sons Glenn (Sheila), Ian (Melody), Teddy III (Anne). Also loved by his 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Ted had many friends from his service and proud leadership with the RCMP, the Masonic Lodge, and Gloucester Rangers hockey.

Friends are invited to visit at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Ave., Ottawa, on Monday, April 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, April 24 between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday in Beechwood’s Sacred Space at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in the RCMP National Memorial Cemetery, located at Beechwood Cemetery.

In memoriam donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Ottawa Humane Society and are greatly appreciated by the family.

I knew Ted Sr. for over twenty years. I was very sad to hear that the Grandfather to my children , Kyle Yeomans and Tianna Sword and Great Grandfather to my grand children, Charlize, Wyatt and Rowan Sword, has passed away. My heart felt condolences are sent to them and the rest of the Yeomans family. He will be dearly missed by all. Huge hugs to all. May he rest in peace.
