Passed away in his sleep with his wife by his side at Elizabeth Bruyère Continuing Care Centre on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the age of 67. Danny is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years Jo-Anne (Lachaine) Dupuis. Loving son of the late Pearl Mathews and late Hector Dupuis. Beloved father of Mathew Frederick (Yesenia Velazquez) and Jesse Dupuis (Stephanie). Cherished grandfather of Mathew Junior. Brother of Adrienne Gingras (Jean-Paul), Gerald Dupuis (Pierrette) and the late Earl Mathews. Will be sadly missed by sisters-in-law Jacqueline Mathews (late Earl) and Sylvie Lachaine, as will as by nieces and nephews Carol (François), Cindy (Sylvain), Jeffery (Carolyn), Ciji (Marshall), Ryan (April), Josh and RJ and many great-nieces and great-nephews. many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa) on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. A Memorial Service will be held in Beechwood’s Sacred Space at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment in Beechwood Cemetery.
