Monday January 7, 2019 at the age of 57. Beloved spouse and soul-mate to Jane Seymour. Cherished daughter of Jacqueline (née Major) and the late René Piché. Dear sister of Paul (Joanne Backs), Jean, Diane (Richard Renaud) and Michel. Fond sister-in-law to David Seymour (Sandy) and Richard Seymour (Lissa). Will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends and family are invited to visit the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave. Ottawa, Monday January 14 after 10.a.m. Memorial Service will be held in the Sacred Space at 11 a.m. followed by interment of the urn and a reception. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to the Bruyère Foundation (www.bruyere.org) or the Ottawa Hospital Foundation (www.ohfoundation.ca) .

Dear Family and friends of Claire, may the God of all comfort be with you as you mourn your dear one. May all the good memories you shared be a source of comfort for you. I hope you find additional comfort in the promises of hope made by the God of the Bible - “He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.”—Revelation 21:3, 5. Imagine a time in the future when no one will shed a single tear for any kind of pain ever again, and those in the grave will be brought back to life! - John 5:28. As we all look forward to that beautiful paradise where we and Claire can live forever, I wish you God's peace.
