To the family of Carl Ostlund, my deepest sympathies on your loss. My memories of Carl are of a gentleman who was dedicated to his job and liked to do things by the book. God bless him and may he rest in peace.

To Lorna, Family Members & Friends,
The members of the Canadian Forces Supplementary Radio (SUPRAD) System Oldtimer's Association were saddened by the news of Carl's unexpected passing. As a former member of the Communicator Research military occupation (MOC 291) and in particular as a Signals Development (SigDev) Operator, Carl made immediate friends with everyone he met. His exemplary service to Canada, while in uniform, was commendable. All those who had the pleasure of working with Carl, will long remember and cherish the enjoyable times that were shared. Please know that as members of your extended military family, we will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
