Peacefully with his family by his side, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bassam (Abou Simon) on Monday, August 7, 2017.
Beloved husband of Marie Razzouk
Father of Simon, Rabih and Liliane (Martin Maisonneuve)
Adored grandfather of Olivier, Julia-Sarah, Zakarie and Nicholas
Dear Brother of Radwan and Edmond
The family will receive relatives and friends at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Ave., on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and from 6:00 to 9:00pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 10:00am at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive, Ottawa, ON. Followed by Burial at Beechwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral.

"sonna-ma-gun", Sam's way of telling us we needed to get to work. It was a great pleasure to work with such a kind sole. I miss our fist pumps at the end of our shift and hearing you say "good-night my dear".
