Passed away peacefully on November 17th, 2016 at the age of 82. Survived by his beloved wife Anita Farley (nee Scharf), son Gilles, 2 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 3 brothers and 9 sisters. Predeceased by his parents Ernest Farley and Yvonne Goddard, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Service at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, on Friday, November 25th at 11am. Internment to follow along with a Reception.

I worked with Yvon at Turpin Pontiac Buick from when I started in August of 1976 until Yvon retired from the car business. I always admired Yvon's work ethic and the way his clients were so loyal to him as he was to them . Those were the old days in the car biz , no computers or technology and Yvon was a master of customer management . I can still remember Yvon telling his clients and clients to be "Voyez Yvon pour du bon " I'm sure my French spelling is appalling but the translation I am sure was "see Yvon for the good ones (cars) " And the good ones indeed would go to Yvon's clients . He was a pleasure to work with and an honor to have known him . May he rest in peace.
