Peacefully on Friday November 16, 2018 at the age of 94. Predeceased by his loving wife of 56 years Rose Marie (née Gordon). Loving father to Paula (Jamie Cockerham), Mark (Barbara), Cathy (Peter Gauthier), Jim (Sue Hollinger) and Robert (Anna). Loving Grandfather to Shawna, Laura, Sara, Emily, Christopher, Scott, Stephanie, Eric, Andrew, Jonathan and great-grandfather to Dylan, Brayden, Oliver, Lucy, Finley, Ella, Ben and Owen. Dear brother of Peter (Kati Lyons-Villiger) and predeceased by his sisters Mary Frie and Ruth Pollock.
Friends are invited to gather on Friday November 23 in the Hall of Colours of the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave. (east of Vanier Parkway) after 10 a.m. Memorial Service will be held in the Sacred Space at 11 a.m. followed by interment of urn at the National Military Cemetery of the Canadian Forces and a reception.

My very sincere condolences to family. This morning I learned about Williams passing and I was deeply saddened. For the past 6 months I visited with Bill every week and I enjoyed every moment that I spent with him. He was loved by everyone. May he RIP.
