A great guy, solid and fair reporter, and very valued member of his profession, we have lost Bill far too soon. Condolences to Bill's family and his many friends across Canada.
Buck, was a great TV journalist; a great friend; and a great Canadian.
Heather and I were so sorry to hear of his passing. There were so many
more stories, so many more laughs, to share.
Our sincere condolences to the Kittelberg family.

I will miss Bill a lot. I worked with him in Jim Prentice's office at both INAC and Industry Canada when I was the Chief of Staff and he was the D-comms. I purposefully put his office next to mine, mostly because communications is such a key part of politics, but also because he and I got along so well. I had a small refrigerator in my office that contained cold frothy beverages ....after 6pm, Bill sometimes had business to discuss in my office and we might open a cold one after those long 12 to 14-hour days!
We kept in regular touch after politics and I almost always saw him when I traveled to Ottawa, usually enjoying a steak at my "Happy Place" (my former staff will know where that is!) His sudden passing was a complete shock to us all. I will miss his laugh and good humor, his deep "FM Radio voice", and his wise counsel. Rest in peace, Bill.
Our deepest sympathy to you Marian and your family..so sorry to hear such sad news..in our thoughts

uncle bill wasn't much older than me...nine years and always fascinated me! All those remarkable accomplishments actually started with lots of practice with an old microphone when he was younger! He was kind too and took us for a tour of the station! Blessings to your beautiful family. I'm so sorry that health issues will prevent us from being there....but my heart holds you close in this very difficult time. Hug each other close and tight...love kathy xo
