December 1, 1922 - January 11, 2018

Passed away peacefully on January 11th, having savored Ottawa’s win over Toronto. Loving and devoted mother to Rudy, Hans (Karen), Deborah Nixon (Michael)and Mark (Laurie). She leaves behind her adoring grandchildren; Michael, David James, Justin, Christina, David John, Jennifer and 8 great grandchildren.
Special thanks to the doctors and medical staff at the Ottawa General Hospital and May Court Hospice for their care and compassion during a difficult period.
A Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 18th at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa) from 7-9pm as well as January 19th from 10 to 11am. The Memorial Service will be followed by a Reception.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Salvation Army and/or May Court Hospice.
