Jane Walford-Gravel

September 30, 1951 - December 26, 2017

WALFORD-GRAVEL, Jane- Passed away in Thailand on Tuesday, December 26, 2017. After 49 years together, Jane leaves behind her beloved husband Michel Gravel. Loving mother of Nicolas (Stéphanie Séguin) and Alexandra “Sacha”. Cherished grandmother of Amelia “Mimi” and Antony “Toto”. Caring sister of Robert Walford (Sue). She will also be sadly missed by many cousins, nieces and friends as well as by the entire Gravel clan. Jane is predeceased by her father the late Ernest Walford and just recently by her mother the late Mona (Lohnes).

Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa). A date will be announced in the spring for a Celebration of Life and Interment to take place at Beechwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to La Maison des Collines are appreciated by the family.

Dear Michel,

We are so deeply sorry to hear about Jane's passing. We can hear her laughter now ringing out wherever she was. Jane brought joy and inspiration to us, and no doubt to all who were lucky enough to know her. Her vitality and joie de vivre are unforgettable.
