It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Victor Evans, in his hundredth year, on February 16, 2017, at the Perley Rideau Veteran’s Health Centre, Ottawa, ON.
Victor was a devoted family man, accomplished musician and had a sense of humour that could light up any room. Predeceased by his wife Gladys “Pat” Evans (Patterson). Survived by loving daughters Deborah Evans and Beverley Sabo (John) and son Gordon Evans (Sharon). Dearly missed by grandchildren Kimberley Sabo, Cassandra Smith (Andrew), Chris Sabo, Samantha Sabo, Greg Evans (Nav) and Kathleen Evans. Victor proudly served with the Canadian Army Reserve and Air Force during World War II.
