August 4, 1960 - July 29, 2018

It is with deep sorrow and empathy that we announce the passing of Veronica on July 29th, 2018, in her 57th year. She leaves behind her loving mother, Veronica, her dear brother, Joseph, her beloved daughter, Julia-Alina, and her cherished grandson, Daniel Viktor. A funeral service will be held at Notre Dame Basilica-Cathedral, 385 Sussex Drive, on Tuesday August 7th, 2018 at 10am, followed by burial at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Ave. Ottawa, ON. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ovarian Cancer Canada.

My deepest condolescences on the passing of your mother and grandmother. It was so quick and although I have only known her the last three years, we became very good friends. She leaves a whole in my heart and I will truly miss her warm and beautiful smile and her wonderful sense of homour.

God saw her getting tired and a cure was not to be
He wrapped her in his loving arms and whispered "Come with me"
She suffered much in silence, her spirit did not bend
She faced her pain with courage, until the very end
She tried so hard to stay with us but her fight was not in vain,
Good took her to His loving home and freed her from the pain.

We are very sorry hearing these sad news! We were very old friends, but we haven't seen each other for a long time and when we've heard that Vera, a still a young lady has died we were very sad! Rest in peace dear Vera!
