In Celebration of

Terence "Terry" Jenkin Retired Inspector in the RCMP

November 14, 1935 -  November 26, 2016

JENKIN, Terence Clement (Terry)
Retired Inspector in the RCMP

November 14, 1935 – November 26, 2016

It is with tremendous sadness we announced the unexpected passing of Terry at home, in his sleep, at the age of 81. He will forever be loved and missed by his wife, Leta, his children Todd and Heather (Lubos Barta) and his grandchildren Brandon, Parker, Makayla and Dryden and great granddaughter Ava. He is survived by his brother Samuel (Gwenth). He will also be sadly missed by his faithful companion Ollie.

Terry was a very proud member of the RCMP serving from 1954-1988, then went on to have a second successful career with the Atomic Energy Control Board (presently known as The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission) until he retired in 2006.

A Memorial Ceremony will be held at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery, and Cremation Services on Friday, December 2 at 10a.m., with interment to follow in the RCMP National Memorial Cemetery at Beechwood Cemetery, followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Humane Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated. Messages of Condolence may be left at www.beechwoodottawa.ca
