Dearest Ezzeddin Family, I am so sorry for the loss of Ali. I am grateful to have had the chance to get to know this incredible man. I am sending all of my love to your entire family.
Sincerely,
Susie Clar
While i did not know Dr. Ezzeddin well, I know him through the stories from Claire who is one of the people most committed to family that I know. That is a testament to how her father (and mother) raised her. I have been thinking lots about your family and offer my sincere condolensces. Even when our parents have had a full life, it is still hard to see them go. Big hugs.
Dear Paul, Ross and Claire
I opened the Globe this morning and saw the notice about your father. I am so sorry. I was glad to hear that he and your mother moved to Ottawa to be closer to you all - although I can only imagine how much they missed the mountains.
Please extend my condolences to your mother and let her know that I will make a donation to DWB in honour of her and your dad.

I always enjoyed working with Ali Ezzedin at RCH where I was Social Worker for many years. In addition to his obvious caring for his patients he was caring about his colleagues too. Once we were stranded at RCH for hours by a heavy snowfall. Ali and I had dinner together in the Cafeteria and talked about our families etc. Just after I finally made it home the phone rang and it
was him checking that I was home safe. I have never forgotten that simple act of kindness from such a quiet and shy and dear man.
He loved to talk about his children and was so proud of them.
My sincere sympathy to you all.Sue Okuda
Dear Louis, Ross, Paul, Claire, and families,
So sorry to hear about uncle Ali’s death. He was a very kind and special uncle, guide and friend to me and his memories will stay with me forever.
May God rest his soul in peace.
