October 17, 1932 -  December 13, 2018

MacIver, Selma – Passed away peacefully after a short illness on Thursday, December 13, 2018. Predeceased by her husband, Major (Retired) William MacIver. Survived by her son Rod MacIver, daughter Lorraine MacIver and grandsons Maxwell, William and Colin MacIver. A private graveside service will be held. A reception will be take place at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made in Selma’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Lorraine, Rod and Family, I was saddened to hear of your Mother’s passing. Please accept my sincere condolences. Selma was a great support to me when I moved to Ottawa so many years ago. I have many fond memories of our times together.
