TAIT, Ruth Maureen
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 9, 2017 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Douglas for 60 years. Loving mother of Susan (Ron Karam), Christopher (Kim Swinwood), and Cathy (Mike Manley). Cherished grandmother of Jacob (Jennifer), Jesse, Jedidiah (Janet), Caleb, Will, Benjamin (Brianne), Samantha, Tara and Michael and proud great grandmother of her “beautiful little Isabel”. She will be lovingly remembered by Alex, Mya, Crystal, Brooklyn and Jojo. So loving and so loved. A memorial service will be held in the Sacred Space of Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue (East of Vanier Parkway), on Tuesday February 14, 2017 at 11 a.m. Special thanks to all the nurses and health care aids on 6-West of the Ottawa Hospital-General Campus and to the Doctors of the Nephrology and Hematology departments. In memory of Ruth, donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer foundation or the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated. Tributes may be sent to www.beechwoodottawa.ca
