What can one say about this man? A twinkle in his eye for sure, and that welcome, gravelly voice saying 'Hello!' across the miles (kilometres) is recorded in my memory and in my heart. He will be missed, and fondly remembered.

May you accept the fact that your Dad is no longer suffering. What a lovely looking soul, I can see the kindness in his eyes. Blessed thoughts to the whole family and may you take this time to remember only the good times, I am sure that is what he would want. God knows who he needs. My thoughts and love to the whole family.

Art Olson (Curler)

Entered November 30, 2016 from Ottawa

Ron was key to keeping a roof over the Granite Curling Club of West Ottawa - his structural advice was critical to ensuring everything stayed where it was supposed to. He was a good curler, an excellent raconteur and a good friend to everyone who curled. We'll miss his smile and his sense of humour - but we're all better for having the good fortune to have know him.
