KASBEY, Roberta Mae (nee Ogden)- Peacefully, at the Ottawa Civic Hospital, surrounded by family on Monday, August 28th, 2017 at the age of 84. Affectionately known as Bertie, she is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Walter (Wally) Kasbey. Loving mother of Wendy Doige of Ottawa, Wayne Kasbey (Claudia) of Edmonton, Barry Kasbey of Edmonton, and Sandra Kasbey of Ottawa. Cherished grandmother of Victor, Marcus, Krystelle, Nadine, and Jessica, and great grandmother to Jason, Camille, Noah, and Summer. Survived by her sister Sue Prosser of Riverview, New Brunswick. Daughter of the late Frederick and Dorothy Ogden (Robinson). Predeceased by her sister Marlene Ascroft.

Roberta will be sadly missed by sisters-in-law Fran Foss and Anne Wooldridge and by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A special appreciation to Ann Lachance for your decades long friendship. Roberta was a graduate of Moncton City High School and maintained long relationships with many of her schoolmates who were also living in Ottawa. They would regularly get together and enjoyed many a dinner to reminisce. A special thanks to the “Moncton Group”.

Funeral Arrangements under the care and direction of Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services. A private family service to take place, with interment in the National Military Cemetery located at Beechwood Cemetery.
