Of Ottawa on January 30, 2018, Robert McDonald Cairns, son of the late Dr. Robert M. Cairns and the late Mrs. Gertrude Cairns of Ottawa. Beloved husband of Jessie Helen Hodgins.

Father of Jill-Marie Armstrong (Dave) and Robbie Cairns. Fondly remembered and respected by Jessie’s daughters Connie Lynn Lefebvre (Michael) and Laurie Ann Platana (Nickolas) of Stittsville, ON. Special Grandpa Bob to Katie Lefebvre and Cayden and Avery Platana. Brother-in-law to Marion Workman (Ronald) of Ottawa, ON, Howard Hodgins (Ann) of Bristol, QC, and Eric Hodgins (Helen) of Bryson, QC.

Friends and Family are invited to visit at Beechwood, Cemetery and Funeral Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa from 10 o’clock Tuesday, February 6, until time of Funeral Service in the Sacred Space at 12 o’clock.
