Connolly, Robert Emmett –

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the age of 90, two days shy of his 91st birthday.
Loving and devoted husband of Jennifer Connolly (pre-deceased) for 32 years, he is survived and will be greatly missed by his six children: David, Mary-Anne (Mike) Ryan, Peter (Isabel), Janet (Werner) Hader, Mark (Heather) and Clare (Paul); and his 6 stepchildren, Rick (Janice), Mark (Pam), Don (Jackie), Janet (Mike), David (Sylvia) and Frances.
Proud Grandfather of 19 grandchildren and an equally proud Great Grandfather to 11 great grandchildren.
Robert was also a key figure to several communities of young people who benefited immensely from the life skills and team leadership that he engendered. He will also be dearly missed by his many friends.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue (East of Vanier Parkway),n on July 31, 2017 from 11am until the time of the memorial service at noon. Reception immediately following.
