Passed away peacefully on January 6, 2017. Beloved wife of John Evans. Loving mother of John-David (Rhonda) and Anika (Jacques). Cherished grandmother of Sarah, Tyler and Sophie. Dear sister of Denise (Jim McLaughlin), Florent (Danielle), Lyse (Richard Therrien) and Lorraine. She will also be missed by many nephews, nieces and friends. Predeceased by her parents Alicio and Maria Bourcier (Parisien). A Funeral Service will be held at The Good Shepherd Parish, 3092 Innes Road, Blackburn Hamlet, on Friday, January 13 at 11:00 am. The family will receive condolences starting at 10:30 am. In memory of Raymonde, please consider a donation to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.

C’est avec tristesse que nous vous faisons part du décès de Mme. Raymonde Evans née Bourcier décédée le 6 janvier 2017. Elle était la fille de feu Alicio Bourcier et de feu Maria Parisien. Raymonde fut l’épouse bien-aimée de John Evans. Elle était la chère maman de John-David (Rhonda) et Anika (Jacques); la grand-maman dévouée de Sarah, Tyler et Sophie. Elle laisse ses sœurs Denise (Jim McLaughlin), Lyse (Richard Therrien), Lorraine et son frère Florent (Danielle) et plusieurs neveux, nièces et amis. La cérémonie aura lieu le vendredi 13 janvier à 11h00 en l’église The Good Shepherd Parish située au 3092, chemin Innes à Blackburn Hamlet. La famille recevra les condoléances à l’église à compter de 10h30. Vos marques de sympathie peuvent se traduire par un don à la Fondation du cancer de la région d’Ottawa.

Raymonde was such a gentle soul; a beautiful person inside and out. It is with a heavy heart that we grieve the loss of such a wonderful woman. My thoughts are with John, John-David, Anika and their children, as well as the extended family.
