It is with shock and profound sadness that we announce Randy’s passing, at home, on October 20, 2018, at the age of 54.
Randy is survived by his beloved parents Paul and Doreen, brother Kevin (Cathy), cherished nephews Adam and Brett, uncles, aunts and cousins and many friends.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, relatives; and his beloved Macintosh.
There will be no service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date; details will be published.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Hughes and Kevin

Randy was a dear friend to me; he was warm, funny and incredibly intelligent. I have been shocked by this news but I felt it important to reach out to you.

I cannot imagine how you must feel, but please know that I am incredibly sorry for your loss. Words are a poor substitute for expressing my emotions, but know that I share in your pain and sadness.

Randy was loved by many of us. He made the world a much more exciting place. I have so many fond memories of my friend, your brilliant son. I will cherish them, always.

My sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Randy. We shared many good times over the years, saw many great shows, and he was kind, funny and brilliant. I'm glad I got the chance to know him and call him a friend.
