Purad (Pierre) Jirian died peacefully after a relatively short-lived battle with cancer. Those of you who were lucky enough to have met and known 'Fiz' know that he was the coolest, with a heart of gold and a sense of humour and passion to match.

Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Uncle, and life-long natural athlete who was a winner on any and all courts. Our own Muggsy Bogues was also the smartest guy around. Self-made, fiercely loyal, quiet, sharp, and a warrior in life and now in death. No doubt he is swimming in the surf somewhere right now. No regrets.
