Sympathies to the family. Peter was a good and kind man.
R.I.P. Peter. Sincere condolences to the family and dear friends. Peter founded Badge of Life in order to bring awareness to PTSD. He has been an inspiration to many and has had an impact on many lives. I have have known Peter since 1969 and enjoyed meeting him at the Lexus restaurant for several breakfasts. He was always pleasant and upbeat. Time to rest now Peter.
I am so saddened to hear of Peter's passing; my sincere condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. Peter lived with many challenges over the last many years. He also used those experiences to make way for a better path for others, and he was tireless in his efforts. Peter, may you rest in peace now knowing that you have left a legacy that will live on in your name. Run free and enjoy the peace you deserve. Thank you for a life-time of commitment to those whose suffering you understood...and for what you did to make positive change. I have always respected you and I will miss you.
In 2009, during many of my dark hours struggling with PTSD, I was fortunate enough, while seeking help, to contact Peter via his website for the Badge of Life Canada. Peter was unbelievable with his kindness, understanding and guidance. The time he took while listening to others was of no concern to him, but rather that his assistance and empathy was of benefit. I owe a great deal to this gentleman and former police officer who led the way in compassion, caring and educating the policing and first responder communities of the tremendous dangers of PTSD. Peter was a true friend who truly deserves a special place within eternity.
You fought the good fight Peter.... you will never be forgotten.. Rest in peace my friend xo
