In Celebration of

Paul Marquis

March 10, 1960 -  January 25, 2018

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Paul on January 25, 2018. Taken from us far too soon, he will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Evelyn, adoring children Patrick, Danielle and Christopher. He leaves in sorrow his father Paul-André Marquis. Predeceased by his mother Josée Leblond and brother François. Loving brother to Johanne (Daniel) and Pierre (Christine). He will be fondly remembered by his in-laws George & Kathleen, his many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and devoted dog Lucky.

Paul enjoyed his career as a helicopter pilot and in aviation safety at Transport Canada. He was a devoted hockey/soccer dad and a fun-loving person always willing to help others.

Paul is watching over us now, cruising in his dream luxury yacht listening to his favorite Pink Floyd songs.

Special thanks to Dr. Nicholas, Dr. Wijay and Dr. Sachs; Shari, Lori, Maryse, Eddy, Pierre and Tracey for their wonderful care and compassion.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 3rd at Beechwood Cemetery (280 Beechwood Ave) at 1pm.

In memory of Paul, donations may be made to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation in support of Brain tumour research.

My deepest sympathies to Evelyn and your family. I've cross path with Paul a few times; whether bumping in each other at a store, at the hospital or when traveling with Evelyn and he always gave me the impression of a great person , a strong, serein and reliable man. My thoughts are with you Evelyn!

To Paul's Family,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Paul. He was such a wonderful husband to Evelyn, father to Patrick, Danielle and Christopher and I'm convinced a wonderful son. I'll always remember his smile.
As I won't be able to attend Paul's memorial service, please accept my sincere condolences and know that I am thinking about all of you during this most difficult time. You are all in my prayers and in my heart.
Sincerely,
Anik

Paul was a wonderful person who treated everyone with respect and consideration. He was always happy and friendly to those who deserved him. I worked with Paul in the 1990s and when we parted offices, we still kept in contact. I still ended up doing work for him for his articles in the Aviation Safety Letter (ASL) and occasionally met up with Paul for lunch/break. He was admired by so many co-workers and will be missed at the annual Luncheon I organize for the retirees. Good bye Paul, until we meet again someday... thank you for being such a good soul!!
