It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia on January 31, 2017 after a brave struggle with brain cancer. Loving wife to Bill for 24 years. Mother to Tanya (Damian) and Heidi (James). Proud Nana to Ryland, Darcy, Caelan, Jill, Ronan and Victor. Lovingly remembered by her siblings Ailene (deceased), Mervin (Carol), Barbara (Jack), Billie (John-Deceased), Marlene, June (Frank), Mitch (Diane), Ginger (Bernie), Jean (deceased) (Stan), Lawrence (Helen), Loretta (Bert), Glenda, Glen (Lucy) and Melinda (Len). Loved by her many nieces and nephews and Brother-in-Law Bob (Liz). Special thanks from Patricia's family go out to Penny, Jose, Pierrette, Yolanda, Louise and Gail. She will be missed but never forgotten. Her kindness, generosity and strength through the years are valued traits that we will cherish for the remainder of our lives. The family would also like to thank the staff of the Elisabeth Bruyere Palliative Care Unit and the Oncology department of the Ottawa Hospital for the excellent care and compassion given to Patricia. Cremation has taken place. Friends and Family are invited to visit at Beechwood, Cemetery and Funeral Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, from 2 – 4 p.m. Wednesday, February 8. Interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre are appreciated.

Dear Bill, Tanya, Heidi and Family,
We are so very sorry to hear the new about Pat. She was a wonderful person who help to guide me through experiences when I first began working at The Personal. She always made me laugh when I was with her. I know she was a fabulous wife, mother and very proud grandmother. She will be missed but never ever forgotten.
