So saddened to read of Palle's death, Marie. You have been a devoted wife and caregiver for him for many years. My deepest sympathy to you and family. Dorothy Pratt
Dr. Marie Kiar; Please accept my profound sympathy for your loss. Palle and I shared many classes at RMC and after we graduated I was stationed in Montreal with 426 RCAF Squadron on the Korean airlift. During days when I was off duty I used to drive Palle and Liane around the area by way of explorations - one of such trips resulted in the purchase of the original (smelly) Oka cheese which my wife of the day threw out. In later years (about 1990) we made contact again but only via email, at which time he told me of your happy life together and said he had an in on longevity as his wife was a physician! Just recently we lost another of our then-group, Stan Pepler. The others were Jack Waterston and Cam Crowe, as well as my good friend Palle. He was one of the greats as far as I was concerned. My heart goes out to you, Marie.
You may have run into my niece, Dr. Catherine Morris, who before her retirement was a heart researcher at the University of Ottawa.

We missed you and Palle at Owen's traditional cottage dinner this year. So sorry to hear of his passing. Excellent photo captures his intelligence and sense of humour. He was a great boss and friend.
