Suddenly, after a brief illness, Michael (Mik) Casey passed at the Civic Hospital, in Ottawa, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Isabelle. Loving father to Patrick (Amanda) and Meisha (Alexander Braden). Dear brother of Noel (Beth) and Anne Hoy (Dennis Carson), remembered by his nieces and nephews. Michael will be fondly remembered for his sense of humour and his career in animation. He also enjoyed drawing cartoons for friends, family and people around him. Michael loved life.

Family and friends are invited to Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa), on Thursday, September 20th, 2018, for a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service in Beechwood’s Sacred Space at 11:00 a.m. For those who wish, contributions in his memory may be directed to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Bruyere Foundation.
