May 13, 1932 - June 13, 2017

Maurice peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family. Loving husband of Isobel (nee McKnight). Cherished father of Sandra (Pat), Karen (Alain), Linda (Connie) and Kelly (Tim). Proud grandfather of Shannon, Katelyn and Megan. Predeceased by his parents Marjorie and Lawson Virgin, brothers Wilfred, Bernard and Gerry. Proud veteran of the Korean War, PPCLI Paratrooper.

Special thank you for the exceptional care and compassion from the nurses, doctors and staff at the 5th floor of the Ottawa Civic Hospital who helped make his journey with dignity.

Funeral Arrangements under the care and direction of Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Ave, Ottawa). A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Maurice, you may do so to the Canadian Cancer Foundation.
