In Celebration of

Donald Martin

July 16, 1976 -  December 21, 2017

MARTIN, Donald “Don”

Suddenly on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the young age of 41. Beloved husband and best friend of Marissa (née Smyth) and loving father of Meghan and Jonah. Cherished son of Don Sr. and Denise (née Lamoureux). Son-in-law of Peter Smyth (the late Linda Rose) and Lucille (née Chouinard). Dear brother to Mathew (Christine), Jonathan (Jessica) and brother-in-law to Thomas (Linda) and Jessica (Tyler Griffin). Precious uncle to Katelyn, Cole, Zoey, Jensen, Sydney and Simone. Will be dearly missed by several uncles, aunts and cousins, close friends and his Best Buy and Future Shop families.

Don had a firm foundation in God, a love of Jesus and such a servant’s heart. He loved volunteering with his Church family doing security, working with children, cooking for large groups, and concert events! He also loved his volunteer families at Relay for Life and Comiccon (Ottawa and Montreal).

He loved all sporting events and especially attending Ottawa Senators and Redblacks games with his family and friends. He was a movie buff, video gamer, computer geek, and avid collector.

A celebration of Don’s life will be held at Woodvale Pentecostal Church, 205 Greenbank Road on Saturday, JANUARY 6 at 11:00 a.m. In memory of Don, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
