Peacefully on February 2, 2017 at the age of 88. Loving wife to her beloved husband Antonio Da Silva Rego (predeceased, December 8, 1996). Devoted and cherished mother of Lisete (Manuel), George (Diane), Maria (Gordon), Joseph (Kathy), John (Connie). Loving grandmother of 10, great- grandmother of 15. Special thanks to nurses and caregivers of Laurier Manor for their care. A very special heartfelt thank you to a very special nurse, Thalia, for the loving compassion given to Mom in her time there. Friends and Family are invited to visit at Beechwood, Cemetery and Funeral Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, from 12 o'clock Thursday, February 9, until time of Funeral Service in the Sacred Space at 1 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer and Cancer societies of Canada are appreciated.
