Gardiner, Harry Mander
Passed away, Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Ottawa Heart Institute.

Mander leaves behind his loving wife, Johanne Bertrand of Ottawa and his daughter, Heather McDermott (Keith) of Morristown, New Jersey. His first wife, Sandra, predeceased him in 2010.

He was born on April 18, 1937, and brought up in Brownsburg, Quebec; the son of Bertha and Manly Gardiner.

After graduating in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University he was employed by CIL, RCA Records in Smith Falls and Black and Decker in Brockville and Leeds and Grenville Board of Education in Brockville (later, Upper Canada District School Board). He retired at the end of 1999.

A Celebration of his life will be held at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue (East of Vanier Parkway), on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 2 p.m. In memory of Mander, donations to the Ottawa Human Society would be appreciated. Dear Johanne,
Our condolences on the passing of Mander. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time. We remember playing badminton with Mander. Stephan would sometimes run into him during morning walks. May he rest in peace.
