Upon retiring, Loretta spent many happy Summers with Murray boating along the Rideau System from their cottage on Birch Island (Elgin, Ontario). They spent many Winters with friends in Florida where Loretta became quite proficient at watercolour painting much to the delight of family and friends. She is remembered and cherished by all as a loving wife and mother.
