In lieu of flowers, kindly please make a donation to the Scleroderma society of Canada, in Kirsten's name.

Dear Kristen
It was a pleasure to meet you skiing on different trips from Ski 1200. Your shrimp dip was a regal for all of us. Many laughing between us will be always in my mind.

Your battle is over but your friendship will always be in my heart.

Repose en paix ma belle amie!

I only knew Kirsten for a short while during our skiing days together but I do remember her to be a wonderful young lady who lived life to the fullest. She was very loving and kind and a pretty good little skier too. My thoughts are with her and I know that she will be sorely missed by many.

Kirsten is one of the most inspiring people. Regardless of her own personal challenges, she always had a kind and thoughtful word for her friends, their family, and remembered everything they had going on in their lives. The world would benefit greatly from more people like her.

I had only known Kirsten for a relatively short time but was immediately struck by her warmth and her quirky sense of humour.

When you consider the adversity that she faced on a daily basis, it is a testament to her strength and caring nature. As such, she set an example to all of us to see the positive in our every day lives.
‹I will miss her.

Kirsten was a very generous and caring person. She had a big heart and while working with her at the group home with the kids, I saw how happy she was with them. We will miss you.
