June 9, 1930 - May 25, 2018

June Bowie passed away peacefully on May 25, 2018 at the age of 87. June leaves behind her devoted husband of 58 years, Peter, her children Joanne (Brian) Ingram and Susan (Donald) Mattocks, and her grandchildren Scott (Samantha), Nikki, Shannon, Brandon and Logan. She will always be in our hearts.

Visitation will be held at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, on Thursday, May 31 from 5 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at Christ Church Cathedral, 414 Sparks Street, Ottawa, on Friday June 1 at 11 am. If so desired, memorial contributions to the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County would be appreciated by the family.

My condolences to you and the girls and their families. June and I enjoyed many a tennis game together in the 70's: and she usually won! During that stage in her life she was full of energy, British wit, and lively conversation: we had a lot of fun together.
