Jacquie Lecuyer

LECUYER, Jacquie
October 14, 1941 – May 3, 2017

Well I am leaving this world for a new adventure. I leave my wonderful husband Wayne who has lighted my life for the best 37 years, my rock, my friend, my love. I leave my kids Tony Morin (Julie Charron), Andrea (Len, don’t cry Mailhot) and Angelique Lucier (Frank), eight grand kids and seven great ones. I leave behind my awesome brother Herv Rector in the Soo with Sandi and his family, a sister Helen Kaine in Niagara Falls. It was a great run but I had to go. Thanks to all my friends and family who supported me through this wild period in my life. Family and friends are invited to visit Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue (East of Vanier Parkway), on Wednesday May 10, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday May 11, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Sacred Space of Beechwood. Please remember to wear your bling. I love animals and children, and spent my last days at Maycourt Hospice. If you would like to make donations that would be appreciated. Tributes may be sent via www.beechwoodottawa.ca

Jacquie, you were larger than life with talent beyond measure. There was never a dull moment when you were present- you lit up the room with your effervescent personality. You lived three lifetimes in one- rest well my friend.

We moved onto Sugar Creek Way, only the second street in Orleans at the time, when I was moved to Ottawa by the Bank.Didn't take long to meet Wayne and Jacquie.Purple Jesus Bed Sheet party, Pimps and Prostitutes-Wayne and Jacquie set the flavour for our young neighbourhood with hospitality and fun and ohhh her laugh!Always the laugh and the fun of the party. The consummate gracious hosts and couple.Moved away to Kingston where we have been for 28+ years. Her picture shows she never changed and I am sure she will be missed by her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren and Jacquie I know there is a party waiting for you-RIP.
