Ivan Emmanuel Lewis

October 30, 1939 - June 8, 2018

LEWIS, Ivan Passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018. He was married to Mme. Cécile Fournier Ac. He is survived by his children, Alan, Kim, Brian, Nicole (Evan Wailoo), Trevor (Tracy Burke), Michel and France. He was the proud grandfather of Nathaniel, Marissa, Tasmine, Jet, Malik and Owen. He was predeceased by his daughter Kerri-Anne. He leaves behind many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Ivan worked for 35 years for the City of Ottawa. The Funeral Service will be held in the Sacred Space of Beechwood Cemetery and Funeral Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa on Monday, June 25, at 10 o'clock with interment to follow at The Beechwood Cemetery. In Ivan's memory, memorial contributions to The Salvation Army are appreciated.

Est décédé paisiblement le venredi, 8 juin 2018. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Mme. Cécile Fournier Ac., ainsi que ses enfants; Alan, Kim, Brian, Nicole (Evan Wailoo), Trevor, Michel et France. Il était le grand-père adoré de Nathaniel, Marissa, Tasmine, Jet, Malik et Owen. Il fût prédécédé de sa fille Kerri-Anne. Il laisse également dans le deuil sa belle-famille.

Le service funéraire aura lieu le lundi 25 juin dans l'espace sacré du Cimetière et services funéraires Beechwood, 280 av Beechwood, Ottawa, à 10h, suivi de l'inhumation au cimetière Beechwood.

Pour ceux qui le désirent, des dons en mémoire d'Ivan à l'Armée du Salut sont appréciées.

Sincere condolences to the Lewis families. Ivan was a quiet and friendly guy who was always ready to give you a helping hand. When I got to know him, he and his good buddy, the late Dennis Branche were working at Welch & Johnston Automotive on McLeod Street, Ottawa. They will now be re-united in perpetuity. May his kind soul rest in peace!
