Peacefully, surrounded by family and predeceased 11 days prior by her adoring Husband Maurice, Isobel passed away with grace. Cherished Mother of Sandra (Pat), Karen (Alain), Linda (Connie) and Kelly (Tim). Precious Grandmother of Shannon (Shawn), Katelyn and Megan. Loving sister of Dorthea Vainola, Elizabeth Sidwell, Hazel Warren and Sandra White (Dave). Predeceased by her parents Samuel and Matilda McKnight (nee Shields), brothers William, Dave, Samuel, Robert, James and sister Margaret Tyers.

Born in Belfast, Ireland, raised in Leicester, England and at the young age of 19 she and her family immigrated to Canada where she met her adoring Husband Maurice. Isobel is now at peace and once again safe in Maurices’ loving arms.

Friends and Family are invited to visit at Beechwood, Cemetery and Funeral Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa from 11 o’clock Sunday, July 2 until 1 o’clock when a Celebration of Isobel and Maurice Gauthier will take place in the Sacred Space.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated.
