SOUSA, Humberto Venancio
October 2, 1966 – October 11, 2017

In Newmarket, ON, on Wednesday, October 11th, 2017 Humberto Venancio Sousa, father, son, brother and uncle passed away at the young age of 51 years. He will be forever remembered by his family and friends as a kind, spiritual, funny and loving individual who's courage, tenacity and strength never left him until is final moments. With his family by his side, Humberto fought hard to stay with us; however, complications following heart surgery took his precious life. Humberto is survived by his beloved son, Noah Neves Sousa, parents Carminda Sousa ( (née Dias das Neves) and Abel Sousa, sister Elizabeth Rodrigues ( (née Sousa) and his nephews Nicholas and Tristan Rodrigues. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Humberto's life by visiting at Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica, 385 Sussex Drive, Ottawa, Tuesday October 17th, from 9:00 am until time of the Funeral mass at 10:00 am followed by interment at Beechwood Cemetery. Our heartfelt thanks go out to the compassionate staff in the Cardio Vascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at Southlake Medical Centre in Newmarket, Ontario, for their excellent care.
