Peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017 at the age of 71. Beloved daughter of the late Asaad and Mariam Sayyar, wife of the late Riad Chalhoub. Loving mother of Roger (Nena), Gerges, Salwa (Toufic Khayrallah), Sofia (Eddy Dib). Devoted grandmother of Celina, Carlos, Brandon, Marc, Klarissa, Ella & Savannah. Dear sister of Louisa (Ramiz Hardan), Nahia (Ibrahim El Gharib), Adeeb Sayyar (Leslie), Nadia (the late John Nahas), Labib Sayyar and predeceased by her sister Leila (Melhem Atallah). She will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Beechwood Funeral Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Ave. (East of the Vanier Parkway) on Monday, December 4th, 2017 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral Service will be held at Saint Elias Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive Ottawa on Tuesday, December 5th, 2017 at 10:00am.
